GENERAL ANNOUNCMENTS There will be a mandatory senior meeting this Friday morning in regards to senior trip. We will dismiss 10 minutes early from 1st period at 9:15. The meeting will run through break. Any students (and Teachers too!) interested in sewing- we would love to have you join us in a mission project for Ghana. We are making little girls dresses out of menÕs dress shirts. They are very easy to make and are soo cute! We will be sewing one day a week after school in the Home Ec. Room. Please see Mrs. Thompson in the Home Ec. Room for more information. Elementary Interns need to turn in their portfolios and meet with Mrs. Blount on Wednesday, March 10th during first period. All other Interns need to turn in essays to Mrs. Blount by Wednesday, March 10th. There will be a detention this Friday morning at 7 am sharp in room 804. The next Saturday detention will be next week on March 20th. St. BaldrickÕs (shaving your head to raise money for cancer research) is at Rock Creek on March 17th at 8:30 a.m. Please contact Mrs. Sitlinger (room 722) if you are interested in forming a team or shaving your head.

COUNSELORS AND SCHOLARSHIPS COUNSELORS: Scheduling has begun for classes for next year. Log on to your PowerSchool account, click on Register for Classes and make your choices! SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarship available to a senior at CAL who is majoring in nursing, medical technology, medical lab technician, pharmacist, physical therapist, respiratory therapist, ultrasonographer. See you counselor by March 12 if you would like to be nominated.

Jeans days for March $1 Jeans day on Friday, March 12 and on Friday, march 26.

Coin drive for Kosairs Coins will be collected now through Wednesday, March 31. There are gender specific bins outside the high school office. Winning team gets a CAL t-shirt, sweat pants and flip-flop day on April 15th. Save your coins for Kosairs!

ACT Prep Class ACT prep class...there are a few open spots so sign up quickly! Class will be in 2 parts, Saturday, March 13 & Saturday, March 20 from 9:00 - 1:00. Cost is $120 which includes the software. Applications are in the high school office.
